Walkley Media Night

If you're in Sydney at 6pm on Thursday 20 July, come along to the State Library of NSW. I'll be the moderator for a Walkley Media Talk on Interactive Storytelling and new ways of engaging audiences.

The panellists will be:

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The Big Fix Inc. also co-ordinates and auspices a range of community projects:

  1. The Youth Cafe - the Youth Cafe is for 14-25 year olds and meets every Wednesday night (during school terms) from 6 - 8pm at 101 Wentworth St Blackheath. RSVP to Lis on 0407 437 553
  2. The Blackheath Community Farm - the Farm is located in the grounds of Mountains Christian College at 60 Thirroul Ave, Blackheath (last gate). We have fortnightly working bees and events from 10am - 1.30pm on Sundays. Contact Lis on 0407 437 553 or email lis(at)thebigfix.org for details 
  3. The Big Fix Straw Campaign - we have been working with all shopfront businesses in Blackheath to phase out plastic straws. 
  4. The Compost Hub - we are participating in a Blue Mountains City Council Trial to encourage local residents to contribute to a Compost Hub. Find out more here
